ANDY POPPLESTONE

Andy is a singer, guitar player and sometime banjo player who has been playing and performing in public for the last 50 years, and in folk clubs for almost that long! He is a self-taught guitar player with multiple influences over the years from Ralph McTell in the early 70s to the likes of Dick Gaughan, Nic Jones and Martin Simpson in more recent years.

Expect a set of both well-known and lesser-known both trad and more contemporary songs: sad, brutal, moving and even occasionally happy! All accompanied on guitar or old-time banjo and all delivered with passion!
